ALAN MAAG - HIDDEN SPOT

The Trace Gallery presents in a summer exhibition special the latest works by Alan Maag, running from the 12th of July until the 9th of August. The exhibition ‘Hidden Spot’ documents the subculture of skateboarding. It refers not only to the places skaters seek to find and experience, but also to the perfect starting position to capture the moments of the joy, dedication and enthusiasm involved.‘Hidden Spot’ portraits a scene, Alan Maag followed and was part of over the last 15 years unveiling new angles, both socially and contextually. Besides striking authentic portraits Alan Maag playfully encompasses contemporary standards of architecture and therewith the spirit of its time.
